Beginner Ukulele [Cosmic Donuts]

This ukulele course is designed specifically for 1st-5th graders and there are no prerequisites for this course. 

** Ukulele for home practice is preferred, but we have 9 available for class use.**


In this class we will look at all ukulele fundamentals with an emphasis on creativity and improvisation. Each week we will build upon what we have learned. Some topics that will be covered are:

* Chords
* Scales
* Basic Music Theory
* Playing songs together
* Right and Left Hand Technique
* Rhythm
* How to write your own song
* And much more!!


I have created the materials for this class to be fun, interactive, and open ended to spark creativity.  I will send a copy for parents so students are able to practice between each class.
